  • There are several mosques and Islamic centres in many cities where Muslims are concentrated in New Zealand. The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ) website provide the list and salah/prayer times. In addition, major universities provide student prayer rooms, and public places such as Auckland International Airport serve as quiet spaces for prayer.
  •
  • With abundant fresh ingredients, including delicious seafood, and the influence of diverse ethnicities in New Zealand, you will experience minimal inconvenience in finding Halal eateries. Tourism New Zealand published a New Zealand Halal Food Guide, recommended by FIANZ and the Kiwi Muslim Directory, which includes many vegetarian outlets.
  • If you require self-catering, there are plenty of Halal butchers around major cities, given that New Zealand exports its meat and poultry abroad.
  •
  • New Zealand is well-known for its sheer pristine beauty, from a vast landscape of mountains, lakes, glaciers, geothermal pools, and volcanic peaks to stunning beaches and islands. It's the land of the indigenous Maori, the first settlers before Europeans arrived. Topped off by fantastic food, friendly people, and a unique culture, there are endless activities to experience.
  •
  • The most notable natural attractions on the North Island are Rotorua geysers (Pohutu Geiser at Te Puia), a mud pool, a geothermal spring, and a colourful pool (Waiotapu). Be amazed at Lake Taupo and Huka Falls, and make your way from Taupo to the oldest national park in New Zealand - Tongariro National Park for mountain and volcanic views (such as at Mount Ruapehu, Whakapapa Village, and Chateau Tongariro). Most favourite by New Zealanders for its one-of-a-kind landscape and natural wonder
  • Other natural beauties in the North Island are in the Northland region (Bay of Islands, Cape Reinga, 99-Mile Beach) and the Bay of Plenty area (Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, Mount Maunganui), where islands, rugged cliffs, and long beaches are your playground.
  •
  • New Zealand is also famous for unique habitats that can't be found elsewhere. In addition to the shy Kiwi bird, you can view it in a conservatory or wildlife sanctuary and be amazed at the clever kea bird, fur seals, Hector's dolphins, and native animals such as yellow-eyed penguins, tuatara, pukeko, and tui.
  • Apart from its natural beauty, the country is well-known for its extreme sports, adventure activities, and mountaineering traditions.
  •
  • The adventure hub is in Queenstown, where you could challenge adrenaline for bungy jumping (AJ Hackett choices from Kawarau Bridge, Nevis, Ledge/Freestyle), skydiving (NZone Skydive), jet boating, rafting, canyoning, and zip-lining.
  • You could perform a bungee jump off the Auckland Harbour Bridge or Lake Taupo on the North Island. Waitomo caves are famous for caving, black-water rafting and abseiling. In Rotorua, you could get inside a giant plastic ball and roll down a hill in a Zorb.

  • New Zealand comprises two main islands: North & South

  •
  • North Island and South Island. The South Island is at the top of the list to visit for the best of nature New Zealand can offer. Queenstown, Mackenzie, and Westland regions are the most stunning, with an incredible display of nature, such as glaciers (Franz Josef, Fox, and Tasman), fiords (Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound), lakes (Lake Wakatipu, Hayes, Matheson, Wanaka, Tekapo), beaches (Gillespie), and national parks, Mount Cook, Mount Aspiring, and Fiordland.
  •
  • Other parts of the South Island worth visiting are Abel Tasman National Park (a beautiful seaside park best for sea kayaking), Kaikoura (sperm whale watching), and Paparoa National Park (Pancake Rocks and Blowholes).
  •
  • This tour is a fully individualised itinerary tailored to the groups interested in visiting cities and places; however, our tour organiser will provide suggested sites to visit and a full itinerary for your halal tours.
