• Your guided driver will take you to Soljans Winery Estate, where you'll enjoy wine tasting and lunch. Soljans Estate Winery has been family-owned for three generations since 1937, making it the third-oldest family-run winery still in family hands and producing a range of whites, reds, sparkling wines, and, of course, their famous port.

• After the wine tasting, you'll have lunch at The Bistro restaurant at Soljans, where the chef showcases fresh local produce to create an ever-changing seasonal menu. Your lunch also includes a glass of wine.

• After lunch at the Bistro, a short drive takes you to the next winery estate, Kumeu River. Kumeu River Estate is one of New Zealand's best wineries, famed for producing wines widely acknowledged as world-class. Founded by the Brajkovich family in the 1940s, they hand-harvest all their grapes, and the family still runs the winery. Kumeu River is world-famous for its Chardonnay and also produces a range of other wines.

• Next, visit the West Brook Winery estate. The West Brook cellar door looks out over a beautiful pond and terraced picnic area to row after row of grapevines. Their wines reflect their unique regional origins and are produced by one of New Zealand’s leading winemakers. Westbrook wines are of premium quality and have won numerous awards. Westbrook is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries. Their skilled winemaker, James Rowan, combines time-honoured traditional and innovative techniques to produce hand-crafted, multi-award-winning wines, including outstanding Chardonnays and Rieslings.

• After visiting three wineries, your next stop is Muriwai Beach, which is one of the region’s special places. We stop for amazing coastal views. Muriwai Beach is a black sand beach in New Zealand, featuring crashing surf and panoramic views. It is also home to the world’s largest seabirds in their natural environment, and visitors can see them from September to April.
