  • Welcome to Auckland. Our driver will meet and greet you at the Airport arrival hall and transfer you to your city accommodation.
  • Evening activities include a visit to SkyCity Tower, where you can admire the view. The Skywalk, bungee jumping from the tower, or having a meal in the revolving restaurant is at your expense (Sky Tower entry ticket includes the tour)

  • After Breakfast, the tours start at 9 am.

  • Start at the highly informative Voyager Maritime Museum on Viaduct Harbour, New Zealand’s maritime museum. Learn about Maori migration across the seas, step back in time aboard a European immigrant's ship, and appreciate New Zealand's proud yachting history.
  • Visit Mission Bay Beach and Kelly Tarlton’s, then head to the Wynyard Quarter toward the Harbour Bridge.
  • The Auckland Museum, Auckland Art Gallery, and Victoria Park Market are for bargain hunters. 
  • Devonport Village visit:  volcanic cone, North Head, then wander down the steps to the famous Cheltenham Beach.

  • Waitomo Glowworm Caves - Hobbiton - Rotorua
  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel, and the tour starts from Auckland and continues to Waitomo Caves.
  • Departing from Auckland is a beautiful, magical way to get to Rotorua. If you want to see a galaxy of glowworms, this Waitomo Caves tour offers a unique experience, letting you spend 40 minutes under them. This tour is one of New Zealand's most unhurried glowworm tours, with the darkness intensifying the glow of thousands of softly shining glowworms.
  • After the tour and lunch in Waitomo, drive to the Hobbiton Movie Set Tours.
  • The Shire, where Hobbiton was brought to life on a private farm in Matamata. This idyllic village blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Set to the scale of a 3 ft Hobbit, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a magical world of smoking chimneys after visiting Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit movie set.

  • After breakfast, the Rotorua day tour starts at 8 am.

  • Explore Rotorua
  • Rotorua sits in one of the world's most active volcanic regions, peppered with natural hot springs, boiling mud pools and steaming geysers. Beyond its geothermal landmarks, this sulphur city has a rich indigenous history. Home to several prominent Maori tribes, a visit to one of the Maori cultural activity places should be on your agenda, as should an excursion to the Polynesian Spa for an invigorating soak in its natural mineral hot springs.
  • First, our tour heads to Te Puia for a guided Te Ra Haka combo walk, where you can see mud pools and geysers and visit the Maori Weaving School and Kiwi House.
  • After Te Puia, the group heads to Wai-o-Tapu. Home to incredible geothermal features.

  • Rotorua to Wellington
  • Today, we head to the world's most incredible little capital city: hip, happening Wellington. It’s a long drive from Rotorua to Wellington, but it offers some unmissable scenery.
  • On the way to Taupo, we will visit Huka Falls, the Lake Taupo Maori Rock Cruise, and drive along the Desert Road that divides the Rangipo Desert. 
  • Along this road, the most prominent attractions are Mount Ruapehu, Mount Tongariro, and Mount Ngauruhoe, the volcano better known as Mount Doom in The Lord of the Rings. On the other side of the road is the lesser-known Kaimanawa Range, home to a breed of wild horses that you may spot on rare occasions.
  • This evening, enjoy the city lights. Discover why Wellington is celebrated for its foodie culture – you are truly spoilt for dining choices tonight.

  • Wellington Tours
  • Today, visit Zealandia, a nature reserve. Zealandia is a groundbreaking conservation project and the world’s first fully-fenced urban ecosanctuary. It has successfully reintroduced over 20 species of native wildlife to this area, some of which had been absent from mainland New Zealand for over 100 years.
  • You will also take guided parliament tours by appointment and stop by Weta Studios, best known for its creative contributions to all things Lord of the Rings. Take an optional tour to see prop-makers in action and learn about the immersive world of filmmaking.
  • Wellington offers a feast of cultural attractions, and its crowning glory is Te Papa, New Zealand's national museum. Situated on Wellington’s magnificent waterfront, this internationally acclaimed museum combines leading-edge technology with traditional exhibits to tell the stories of New Zealand’s land and people. Entry is free, but you may want to opt for a tour with one of their experienced guides for a more in-depth visit.
  • Take a historic trip on the Wellington Cable Car. This five-minute trip to the top of Kelburn Hill offers a charming escape from the busy city streets. Enjoy views of the city & harbour.

  • Wellington to Queenstown by Flight (Flight tickets not included)
  • Our driver will pick you up from the Wellington Hotel and transfer you to the Domestic Terminal
  • At Queenstown Airport: Our driver will meet and greet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you to your Queenstown hotel.
  • After you settle into your accommodation, the city sightseeing tour begins at the hotel.
  • Queenstown has something for absolutely everyone. Options include extreme jet boat rides, river kayaking, 4-wheel driving through Lord of the Rings scenery, the Skyline Gondola, and bungy jumping, just a few of our favourites.
  • Our first activity is the Queenstown Skyline Gondola. The Skyline Queenstown Gondola takes you 450m above town, offering incredible panoramic views. But there's more to enjoy than just the view! Get your fix of downhill fun with the Luge if you are interested.
  • In the evening, take the Queenstown TSS Earnslaw cruise ride. Take a scenic cruise on Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown aboard the iconic vintage steamship to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Explore the deck bridge, view the engine room, or join a sing-along with the on-board pianist. Enjoy a drink and some café-style food at the Promenade Café and Bar.

  • Queenstown to Milford Sound Tours
  • Milford Sound Cruise and tour from Queenstown (Approximately 13 hours)
  • Return luxury travel from Queenstown to Milford Sound, with a 1-hour 40-minute Cruise along the entire length of the inlet. Enjoy a relaxing trip along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau along the spectacular Milford Road. Take time for photo stops and short walks when you reach Milford Sound.
  • You board the modern, spacious vessel for a leisurely cruise in the cove. The cruise offers excellent viewing opportunities and ample time to enjoy waterfalls, rainforests, mountains, and wildlife. During the cruise, your friendly crew provide commentary in several languages and points out sights such as Mitre Peak and the Pembroke Glacier.

  • Queenstown to Lake Tekapo
  • This morning, the group leaves the Queenstown accommodation and drives along a scenic road, so make sure your camera is fully charged and ready. En route, we’ll stop in charming Arrowtown, a historic gold rush village with heaps of old-world character.
  • From Queenstown to Arrowtown via the Cardrona Valley route, stop for photos at the historic Cardrona Hotel Pub and world-renowned Cardrona Bra Fence and continue to Wanaka. 
  • Wanaka must-visit places include the Wanaka tree at Lake Wanaka, Puzzling World, and other activities (Passenger option).
  • This afternoon, relax at stunning Wanaka Lake, then head through the rugged high country of the Mackenzie Basin to Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to Australasia's highest mountain at 3,754 metres. 
  • Visit Mount Cook Village
  • Suggested optional activity: Heli or Ski Plane Flight, Glacier Explorer 
  • Our tour group leaves from Mount Cook for Lake Tekapo in the evening. Lake Tekapo is fringed by the Southern Alps and is known for its turquoise colour. At its southern end, in Lake Tekapo township, is the stone Church of the Good Shepherd.

  • Lake Tekapo to Christchurch
  • Leaving Tekapo, you will head to Geraldine and through the lush farmland of the Canterbury Plains. You will arrive in Christchurch, the capital of Canterbury and the largest city on the South Island. It is a unique destination that combines heritage, culture, and a beautiful natural landscape with urban regeneration, bustling hospitality, and an exciting lifestyle.
  • Visit Christchurch Art Gallery in the heart of the city, housed in a landmark building with flowing glass, and take a city tram ride to enjoy the evening.
  • Christchurch is an excellent, creative city being rebuilt in amazing ways after the life-changing 2011 earthquake. Christchurch folk are innovative and imaginative. The Transitional Cathedral Church, made of cardboard, is inspirational.
